It was a night of nights for the Sydney foodbloggers ring – a chance to celebrate ChocolateSuze’s birthday and also to meet & greet the different faces behind the food blogs. It was a turning point for myself as well – having recently injected myself into the foodbloggers ring, I was keen to meet these wonderful people that have inspired me to photograph and document my many food adventures.
I didn’t take much photos of the food (I wasn’t brave enough to whip out my peuny digital camera amongst the ginormous, fully-loaded DSLRs of the other pro foodies!), but I should just point out that Wagaya’s food and service did not fail. That’s why I love that place. And that is why it’s one of my favourite convenient Japanese places to eat at.
It was also a masquerade party so after the scrumptious dinner (oh that agedashi tofu and crumbed cheese!!!! The cheeeese Gromit, the cheeeeeeese!!!), it was as if on cue when everyone pulled out their masks and posed infront of the cameras.
And because we are all crazy, we were all given masks of the different MasterChef Australia’s contestants. Betty got Chris (ala Dame Edna!)
Whilst I got Julie (which I’m happy about because she made the best lemon cupcakes last week – I know because I tried out her recipe and it was delish!!)
I also made cake pops as a sign of gratitude for everyone and a mini “cake pop” bouquet for ChocolateSuze.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHOCOLATESUZE!!
